DESCRIPTION

Any unmanned aircraft (UA) with a total weight of more than 250 grams must be registered with the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) before it can be operated in Singapore. Effective 2 April 2020, it will be an offence to operate an unregistered UA with a total weight of more than 250 grams in Singapore.

Upon purchase and receipt of the UA registration label, you will need to complete registration online at caas.gov.sg/UAregistration

By default, Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PR) can purchase up to 5 UA registration labels while non-Singaporeans and non-PRs can purchase only 1 UA registration label. For persons who are permitted by CAAS in writing to purchase more than the default number, please note that purchase through this website is limited to 5 UA registration labels per transaction.

Registration Fee: A registration fee of $25 will be collected for each registration label. This fee is non-refundable.
It is an offence:
- a. To operate an unmanned aircraft with a total weight of above 250 grams in Singapore that is not registered with CAAS.
- b. To permit an individual to operate an unmanned aircraft with a total weight of above 250 grams in Singapore that is not registered with CAAS.
By proceeding with the purchase, you consent to the collection, use or disclosure of personal data by CAAS and SingPost for the purposes of managing the sale, distribution and inventory monitoring of UA Registration Labels: CAAS may share personal identifiable data that you have provided in this application with other Government agencies, so as to serve you in a most efficient and effective way. CAAS will not share your personal identifiable data with other entities, except where such entities have been authorised to carry out specific Government services or in accordance with legislation under the purview of CAAS to enable CAAS to perform CAAS functions or duties or to comply with any order of court or in compliance with any written law, or for the purposes of taking any action against any user for breach of the conditions of use of CAAS’s services.
Data provided by CAAS to SingPost may be used for verification and record of your personal particulars, including comparing information from other sources such as over-the-counter registration database, the online registration portal and CAAS database of permit holders, and using the information to communicate with you.
